Helping teachers transition out of the classroom by starting their own online business - without relying on MLMs or working for someone else.
Launching a podcast may seem like a daunting task, but it can be a transformative step for your business. On the latest episode of Master Your Message, I take you behind the scenes of launching a podcast and share what it’s like to work with a podcast manager—specifically, me! If you’ve been toying with the idea of starting your own podcast but feel overwhelmed, this blog post will give you a peek into the process and hopefully inspire you to take the leap.
Before diving into the nitty-gritty, let’s revisit why a podcast can be a game-changer for your business:
– Value-Packed Content: A 30-minute podcast can deliver more value than most social media posts.
– Trust and Connection: Listeners get to know you and build trust as they hear your voice and insights.
– Expert Positioning: Establish yourself as an authority in your field.
– Flexible Listening: Podcasts can be enjoyed anywhere—while driving, cooking, or even in the shower!
– Permanent Content: Unlike social media posts, podcast episodes don’t disappear. They create a library of valuable content you own.
I understand that the thought of launching a podcast can feel overwhelming, which is why I’m here to help streamline the process. Here’s a breakdown of what it’s like to work with me:
1. Initial Consultation: We’ll begin with an inquiry and a meeting to determine if we’re a good fit. After that, I’ll send over all my onboarding forms.
2. Planning Your Podcast:
– Content Mapping: Define the purpose of your podcast. Who is your target audience? What content will you offer?
– Naming and Branding: Choose a catchy name and brainstorm cover art ideas.
– Equipment and Software Guidance: I provide a comprehensive list of the equipment and software you’ll need.
3. Communication & Support:
– I offer continuous support via Voxer, a messaging app. This real-time communication method is perfect for addressing questions and issues as they arise.
4. Recording Your First Episodes:
– Preparation: We outline what needs to be done, including intros, outros, and music choices.
– Recording: Share your recordings with me via Google Drive so I can review and provide feedback, ensuring high audio quality from the get-go.
5. Behind-the-Scenes Magic:
– Editing: I handle the editing to make sure your podcast sounds professional.
– Platform Setup: I set up your podcast host and submit your show to various podcast platforms.
– Scheduling and uploading your episodes to your host with descriptions.
– Promotion: We develop a strategy to promote your podcast leading up to the launch.
6. Post-Launch Support:
– Ongoing Management: Once the hard part is done, you focus on recording episodes, and I manage the backend tasks. You just record, send it over, and I do the rest!
Outsourcing your podcast production can be a significant investment, but it’s one that pays off:
– Efficiency: Save your time and effort for content creation and business growth.
– Expertise: Benefit from my experience and knowledge.
– Focus: Concentrate on what you do best while I handle the technical details.
Imagine having all the complex parts of launching a podcast handled for you. That’s what I offer. You’ll have more time to create, engage with your audience, and grow your business.
If you’ve been dreaming about starting a podcast, now is the time. I’m here to walk beside you, share my expertise, and help bring your podcast vision to life.

Like most teachers, I went into the profession thinking I would change the world....or at least love what I do. And the truth is, I did...for a while. But after 7 years I knew I was not in the right field for me, and continued to spend the next 11 years trying to find something else.
